Beginning Ashtanga Yoga
This is the classical primary series practice as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This practice is for advanced beginners to intermediate students with a commitment to class attendance because success comes through repetition and self-study.
Forrest Yoga
This form has a strongly physical practice designed to help you find your authentic self. It is an intensely physical and internally focused practice that emphasizes how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life.
Gentle Yoga
This all-levels class will deepen your asana practice through mindfulness, pranayama, yoga philosophy, and meditation.
Hatha Yoga
“The word “hatha” may be said to derive from the Sanskrit terms “ha” meaning “sun” and “tha” meaning “moon”. Thus, Hatha Yoga is known as the branch of Yoga that unites pairs opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in the system. Historically, however, the term haṭha refers to the use of persistence or force, and is translated as a kind of forced Yoga or abstract meditation.
Jivamukti Yoga
The yoga style has been made popular by Sharon Gannon and David Life at Jivamukti Yoga School, NYC. It is a vigorous and challenging vinyasa flow practice infused with yoga philosophy, Sanskrit, deep relaxation, and meditation. Suitable for advanced beginners to advanced students that like to have fun while being challenged.
Morning Yoga
This all-levels class will deepen your asana practice through mindfulness, pranayama, yoga philosophy, and meditation.
Pilates
This all-levels mat-class follows a series of exercise movements designed to strengthen the core abdominal muscles. You will tone and stretch your entire body.
Power Pilates
This is a challenging intermediate-level mat class suitable for those proficient with basic Pilates exercises. You will strengthen and tone your entire body while focusing on core abdominal muscles.
Hot Power Yoga
This challenging vinyasa links breath and movement for the advanced beginner to intermediate student. The class includes sun salutations, standing and seated postures, balance, and basic inversions in a heated room.
Vinyasa Flow – Vinyasa Yoga
This challenging yoga practice emphasizes the connection between breath and movement. Each class is unique with creatively sequenced flowing asanas including sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, arm balances, inversions, and deep relaxation. Some yoga experience is recommended.
Yoga 1-2
This all-levels class explores asana (postures), basic breath support, alignment, as well as the appropriate modifications of postures.
Instructor Notification
New students or those with injuries or medical conditions should notify the instructor before class begins so that modifications can be suggested if necessary.
